Chicken! (in all of it's forms)

Thtas right folks I have eaten all different parts of the chicken. A foot, butt, stomach and some other weird things, but it all tastes just like chicken! My teaching is under way and I am really enjoying it. I have started driving my scooter much more and it's actually been a lot of fun. Be ware though! The driving here is crazy. My favorite classes to teach are the younger kids but the older kids can be fun as well. Rooney gets here today and I'm excited to have a friend. We are going to take Taiwan by storm. Who is coming to visit?

Me and my moped

I bought a scooter! Last night I drove it for the first time up tiger head mountain, which overlooks all of taoyoun city. The view was great and the drive was a little difficult on the way up, nut I only drove into oncoming traffic once. No sweat, I survived untouched. Last night for dinner I had chicken, beef, vegetables, and chicken hearts! Yumm. I've observed a couple of classes and hopefully my schedule will pick up here in the next few days. Otherwise life is great.

There's a super typhoon coming.... And it's in my stomach

Typhoon nanmadol is headed our way but it doesn't look like it will ever really make landfall. However what did make landfall is some kind og stomach bug because I haven't really been able to keep anything down for the last 24 hrs, and went to bed around 530 last night but I haven't let it stop me. Yesterday I took the bus into Taipei and explored the downtown area. There were lots LF people and really good looking food that somehow just didn't appeal to me, I felt awful but really wanted to get out and see. The people here have been great. On mom day I start observing classes and by wednesday I should be subbing some classes. I'll let you know how it goes!

Found the rice maker

Well I've arrived at the airport in Tokyo and the first leg of the trip was fairly easy. For all of you concerned with the issue of finding a rice maker (which is only three of you I believe) don't worry I found a whole store of them, duty free mind you, in the airport. As for now I have a beer in hand just waiting another 2.5 hours until my flight to Taipei.

And sorry mom I still am sure I wanna do this :D
